Lifeline Crisis Chat is a service of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in partnersip with CONTACT USA.
You can always leave a message for the Helpline if it is not currently available and we will return your call or email promptly.
Our highly-trained advocates are available 24/7 to talk confidentially with anyone experiencing domestic violence, seeking resources or information, or questioning unhealthy aspects of their relationship.
However, if you disclose your name and location and are under 18 or if we fear that you are in danger of committing suicide (or otherwise as required by law), we may have to provide information you have given us to the appropriate authorities.
The chat specialists are here to listen and support you through whatever difficult times you may be facing.
Anyone seeking help or questioning something going on in their relationship is welcome to chat.
The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.
If you have a medical emergency or are a victim of sexual assault, please call 911. Learn more about sexual health topics at Better Than Sex
The NEDA Helpline is available Monday-Thursday from 9AM to 9PM ET, and Friday from 9AM to 5PM ET.
You get the same one-on-one, real-time, confidential information from a trained advocate as you do if you contact The Hotline by phone.
